South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Pension Fund
We are responsible for maintaining the South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Pension Fund (SYPTPF) on an agency basis, for South Yorkshire Integrated Transport Authority, in respect of a restricted number of employees of First South Yorkshire Ltd and ex employees of First South Yorkshire Ltd who participate in the Local Government Pension Scheme.
The SYPTPF committee is made up of 6 elected members of the Integrated Transport Authority nominated by the four South Yorkshire district councils. They act as quasi-trustees and have ultimate legal responsibility for the fund and the services that we provide. High amongst their priorities are the formulation of investment principles plus the appointment and monitoring of external advisors and fund managers.
The documents and news information that you will find on this part of the website are specifically related to issues concerning the SYPTPF and therefore you should still access the main part of the site for general pension scheme issues.
SYPTPF meetings are serviced by the South Yorkshire Joint Secretariat.
