South Yorkshire Pension Authority has worked with the participating fund employers through consultation to develop a strategy for the administration of the Local Government pension scheme in South Yorkshire.
The Pensions Administration strategy sets out, amongst other things how the administering Authority, SYPA, will administer the Pensions Scheme and Fund on behalf of Employing Organisations, and their Scheme Members, participating in the South Yorkshire Pension Fund. The strategy also sets out its requirements for employers in terms of timely and accurate provision of information pertinent to the administration of the Scheme and fund.
